Research England case study of MTSC
MTSC is the most recent Connecting Capability Fund project to be highlighted by Research England
Focusing on the fundraising success of SERG Technologies from Cohort One and Ben Storey’s lung therapy trumpet (Cohort Three) from the Royal College Music it demonstrates that with the right package of support and networking opportunities medical technologies can be accelerated within an academic environment. Our first two cohorts are a great example of this having raised over £2.42 million in venture capital and further grant funding, with seven patents filed and five spin-out companies formed (all of them are raising seed funding and taking on staff).
