Connecting capabilities to drive forward medtech innovation
Nearing the end of the three-year experiment, MTSC is now collating the learnings and impact on the partner institutions and venture development from participating in this experiment. In this piece, we look at how MTSC activities has bridged the gap and lent support to ventures that were otherwise too early stage for QMUL’s translation team to engage with. Bringing in £582,359.97 in funding to the institution through the support of five projects across both Challenge and Venture-led Accelerator Programmes there has been great success. The supported ventures include digital solutions for mental health & wellbeing, innovations in skin health and devices to monitor & manage gut pain. A summary blog post can be found here.
