Helping more innovative ideas fly

Nearing the end of the five-year experiment, MTSC is collating the learnings and impact on the partner institutions and venture development from participating in this experiment. In this piece, we look at how MTSC activities elevated innovative research at the Institute of Cancer Research. Bringing in £230,294 in funding to the institution through the support of two across two cohorts there has been great success. The supported ventures include accelerating image acquisition of MRI scans using artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, as well as a diagnostic assay to inform colorectal cancer treatment pathways.
